Toy of choice...

Lids....Charlie wants to hold lids of any size, shape, or color. It doesn't matter if they are from the milk, juice, or baby food. He just loves them all. Such a funny little boy!

Charlie will snuggle on Andrew ANYTIME or ANYWHERE

Even while Andrew is mowing the lawn!!!

I guess Charlie is a true Daddy's boy :)

Bathtime

Andrew get snuggles from Charlie ALL DAY LONG, and the only consistent time I get snuggled is right after his bath. I love it so much and it is also a bonus because he is clean and smells so good :)

Dyeing Easter eggs

We dyed Easter eggs at my parents house on Saturday. Charlie couldn't quite figure out what we were doing.

I think he wanted to play in the toy box more than dye Easter eggs.

My Mom's Birthday Suprise

My Mom turned 50 yesterday on Easter Sunday. She is always up for a good time and so we decided to throw her a surprise party. It was so much fun because she seriously had NO IDEA about the party. We didn't think that very many people would be able to come because it was Easter weekend....but we had about 80-90 people there! It was such a fun night. It was filled with good company, yummy food, a beautiful view, cute decorations, and a lot of laughs. I don't think my Mom or I will ever forget her big birthday celebration :)

Love you Mom, Happy Birthday!

The only thing that would have made it better, if Matt was there.

He turns one!

Charlie had a Birthday yesterday! It is crazy how much faster time goes once you have kids. Andrew and I are so grateful for this little guy. He brings more joy and happiness into our lives than we ever thought possible. We had a party for him yesterday and he was a VERY spoiled little boy. He received so many nice gifts, but more importantly so many people supported him and came to his party. Here are a few pictures of the fun day.

In the morning we took him downstairs to play on the
slide/ball pit/swing set my parents gave him. Clearly it was a hit :)

Andrew wanted him to open at least one present after breakfast:

I made him a Mickey Mouse cake...it actually turned out a lot better than expected.

He got a tractor that drives and makes animal and tractor
sounds from Andrew's parents, and he totally loves it.

Happy Birthday Charlie, we love you Buddy!!
