January at our house

I went upstairs to see what Charlie was doing and this is how I found him, just enjoying a good book:)

We took Charlie swimming on Martin Luther King day, and he was in Heaven. I think he may like the water more than Andrew...which is pretty hard to do!! (Sorry for the blurry pictures, I am still learning how to use my phone).

Here are the three babies!! Jake (10 weeks), Macie (7 weeks), and Dane (1 week).

Grandma is happy that there is always a baby to hold now :)
Aunt Whit getting her baby fix in. After seeing all of us pregnant I think this totally satisfies her urge to be a Mom right now.
Is that the cutest face ever!!! (I am the Mom so I can say that).
Macie 7 weeks old.
Macie started smiling a few weeks ago and we die over her every time she does it.

She is so chubby!!

Charlie always wants to hold Macie, help her when she is crying, kiss her and hold her hands. He climbed under the mat she was on and said to her quietly "You are my best buddy" ( I love how he is holding her hand). That definitely made me get teary eyed. Love them so much.
Charlie is into "taking naps" all over the house. He will make a bed and take ALL our blankets out, and lay there for like one minute. After he will say "Mommy I took a nap and feel much better". He is such a funny kid.
Charlie has recently been potty trained. He finished going to the bathroom and came out with his pants on backwards. He was so proud of himself.
We are a lot busier at our house these days but we love every minute of it. We are so blessed to have these two wonderful kids and I feel so lucky to be their Mom.

Charlie cut his own hair!!

It was just a matter of time before he did it. I was cutting my Mom's hair and he was playing with my trimmers. He took them right down the middle of his head. Oh well, it could have been worse, I just hope he doesn't do it again :)

Before and After

I finally have some before and afters of our house. When I see the pictures side by side I can't believe it is the same house. I am happy with how it all turned out and definitely happy the main areas are done.

This was supposed to be the master shower. Andrew tore it all out and we did the separate tub and shower below.

(We still need to change baseboards and paint our bedroom).
