Busy Busy Week

The 24th of July is one of the best weeks of the year for our family. We go to Fairview (where my parents grew up) and enjoy their Pioneer Day celebration. We also go to Bear Lake for the whole week with Andrew's family. We try to juggle all the planned activities the best we can and it makes for a way fun and way tiring week. Here are a few pictures of all the fun :)

Charlie enjoying his new chair Grandma bought him for Bear Lake.

My Dad took us to see some of my Uncle's
BIG Diggers...Charlie of course was in Heaven.

These two are best buddies.

Hanging on to the 1%

Charlie went to the Doctor last week and his stats have pretty much stayed the same except he grew a little taller. Still teeny body, big head, and average height.
Weight: 19.5 pounds (1%)
Height: 31 inches (45%)
Head: 48.5 cm (84%)

Charlie was excited to see a puppy :)

Rain Puddles

Yesterday afternoon it started raining so so hard. Charlie and I went out to watch it and before we knew it there were puddles everywhere. We got in our rain gear and had a fun time playing in the rain. Having Charlie makes me stop and enjoy the simple things :)

July so far...

July is such a fun busy month. We have already celebrated my birthday, had the Fourth of July, gone to the Cruise in car show, saw fireworks twice, saw the Farmington Festival days parade, and gone to the pool a few times. And we still have a few more weeks of busy fun ahead of us.

He was a big fan of birthday cake and balloons.

Charlie loved the parade. He saw the fire engines coming and was shaking he was so excited! He is a true boy. He loves tractors, diggers, trucks, fire engines, police cars etc. Needless to say the parade was a hit :)

The fire engine is coming!

Isn't that the cutest!

Charlie loves the fireworks, but he is pretty tired by the time it is dark enough to get started.

We love the month of July :)

Miracle Boy

I know now more than ever that Charlie is truly our little Miracle. Last week on my birthday I was five weeks pregnant and I started to have some cramping. Of course I panicked because it felt the same as when I had my ectopic pregnancy, except the pain was on my other side. We went straight to the emergency room because last time I waited too long and it ruptured my tube...so I am only left with one. Come to find out it was another ectopic pregnancy :( We went into emergency surgery around midnight. By chance the OBGYN on call was the same one who was on call last time this happened to me. We were so grateful for that little blessing. Dr. McCulloch was able to save my tube! I am so grateful that I was in such good hands.

While I was in the hospital I couldn't help but compare how I was feeling this time around versus last time. I was so sad last time because I didn't know if we were going to be able to have any kids. This time I am still sad because I really don't think that we will be able to have as many kids as we want. But we have one, our sweet little Charlie. Last time we got pregnant the fastest we could after my surgery. Little did we know that Andrew's tumor started growing soon after. There was a tiny window that we could get pregnant and we did (and it wasn't ectopic). I feel like we were supposed to have Charlie at the exact moment that we did. I am so grateful for him. I know now more than ever that he is our blessing from Heaven. I also know that how ever many more kids we are blessed with, we will be ever thankful for them :)
