Kangaroo Zoo

We went to Kangaroo Zoo a few weeks ago and the kids were in Heaven. They were able to get all their wiggles out and play with their cousins all at the same time :)

I think this picture is hilarious!
Charlie was a little timid at first but by the end he was loving it.
Nixon is a crazy, fearless little guy so this place is perfect for him.

Beck was laughing like this pretty much the whole time.

Kangaroo Zoo is such a fun cheap place to go, especially when the kids are tired of being stuck at home.

Cutest outfit ever?

My Mom gave all the boys these outfits for Christmas...and I can't get enough of Charlie in it. I think he looks like such a little man.

Thanks Mom for making Charlie look even cuter than he already is :)

Kauai

We just got back from Kauai, and it was exactly what we needed to feel like we could get through the rest of this crazy winter. We had such a fun time and we were so glad that Kim, Anita and Carter wanted to come along. (Sorry for the picture overload):

We stopped in San Francisco for a day on our way to Hawaii.
Charlie was in Heaven at the Ghirardelli store.

We finally made it to the wonderful, WARM weather.

Heading down to the beach for the first time:

Charlie loved the beach the first day. He couldn't figure
out why the waves kept coming and going.

The next day Charlie did not like all the sand on him:

He loves his Grammy.

The boys were in Heaven.

I think you can probably tell who the star of the trip was :)

You would think that Charlie wouldn't need his blankie or binkie in Hawaii...but he did. Both came everywhere with us:

You would also think he wouldn't choose a park over the beach. But he did that too:

Charlie (and the rest of us) were in Heaven with these amazing mango popsicles:

We were really lucky with the weather. We only had one day that it rained and it didn't stop all day. It flooded all the grounds around the condo we stayed in. Here is the before picture:

 After:

Obviously the boys didn't mind.

Charlie thought Carter was pretty cool. If we weren't with
 him Charlie would ask "Car-Car?"

We saw some really beautiful places.
Including a few really cool waterfalls:

Kauai's "Grand Canyon":

The "tree tunnel":

And of course a few really beautiful beaches:
This is the beach our condo was on in Poi'pu.
We went to a local farmers market...and ate an amazing fresh pineapple each day:)

We also ate at some yummy restaurants including the famous "Puka-dogs":

And we wore this little boy right out:
