Bear Lake

As always we went to Bear Lake with Andrew's extended family for the week of the 24th. It was a blast. We had great weather, good company and yummy food. Charlie is still saying "I want to go to Bear Lake", too bad he has to wait another whole year.

Charlie loved having his own chair.

He was especially happy when he had "baboba and mmmm" with him.

Sadie and I were sitting on chairs a little farther than this picture was taken from. Charlie decided he wanted to go and sit on this chair all by himself. So he marched over there with "baboba and mmmm", climbed on the chair, sat down and stayed there for quite a while.

Amazing Andrew

Andrew just ran his first half marathon on Saturday!! I am so proud of him. He was in the best shape of his life when he got cancer and he even ran everyday after chemo. Chemo wiped everything out of him. It took him two years, but he is back to where he was when he started chemo (maybe even better). I am so proud of how determined and motivated he has been. I am sure this is the first of many races in the future. Congrats Andrew we are so proud of you!!!

The Fouth of July week.

The Fourth of July week is so much fun. I feel like we were partying for a whole week. We celebrated my birthday, went to Logan and had a BBQ and watched fireworks, went to a parade, had a fun evening at Oakridge with food, games, and fireworks, went to Logan's car show and celebrated Sam's birthday. Charlie was pretty worn out by the end of the week but we had such a good time.

Charlie

I just wanted to write a few things about Charlie that I don't want to forget.
-He calls his blankie "mmm" and his binkie "baboba".
-He is always asking me "Mommy doin' now?" and then when I tell him he always responds "oh".
-If I tell him something fun we are going to do he will sometimes say "pretty lucky".
-He loves to count to 12 and sometimes 15 (with help).
-He loves when I sing songs to him regardless of how bad my voice is.
-He can sing the abc's.
-He can talk pretty well, and I can understand most things he says, but for sorry he will say "warty".
-When I change his diaper he will say "peedew  ___" and he will fill in the blank with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, or Grandpa. He thinks he is being pretty clever.
-When we ask him if he wants a baby brother or baby sister he always says "I want a big truck".
-He is a very polite little boy. He is always telling me please and thank you and if he doesn't want something he almost always says "no thank you Mommy".
-He is such a sweet little boy and such a blessing in our home. We feel blessed each day to have the privilege to raise such a good boy. We love you Charlie.

I wanted to add these few pictures of Charlie sharing his "pop pop" with baby Annie:

He got sick of waiting so he decided to start eating the other side.

Elder Cox is home!!!

About a week ago my brother returned home from serving a mission in Budapest, Hungary. It is nice to have him home. My sisters, Chelsea and Ashlee are both pregnant too and Matt didn't know about any of us. So Chelsea had the idea to have us wear matching shirts with the month we are due. We were so excited. My other sister Whitney isn't pregnant but didn't want to miss out on the fun so she made a shirt that said "nope" across her belly. It was an exciting way to welcome him home.

We made these shirts of the Hungarian flag for the kids.

Nope, its a November baby, December baby, January baby.

We are so happy to have Matt home :)
