First day of school

Summer is officially over, I  can't believe how fast it went! We did so many fun things. I am so grateful we had such a great summer. The kids started school early this year. Charlie started 7th Grade at South Davis Junior High, Macie is in 4th grade(Mrs. Housinger) and Connor is in 2nd grade (Mrs. Gehmlich) both still at Boulton Elementary. They all had a very positive report and were so excited about this year!

Snowbird

We went to Snowbird for one last fun summer activity. It was really fun. It wasn't busy and we had great weather! We went on a beautiful hike up to Cecret Lake in Alta. It was incredible!! We saw two moose!! Then we swam, had dinner, swam some more, slept and swam so more. We had a really nice couple of days!

Bear Lake round 2

Back to Bear Lake!! This time we only had my parents, Matt, Hannah and their kids, and Charlie's friend Jaxson. We were only there Friday morning until Saturday night but had a great time! We swam, had a camp fire, went for a walk, played games, and had fun spending time with each other. 

One of the craziest storms came in Friday night right before bed. Anita called us from Logan and said the lightning, hail, and wind were nuts and we should move our tents somewhere that would be protected.....so we moved picnic tables and slept under the pavilion. Crazy storm, but Saturday was probably the prettiest day I have ever seen at Bear Lake, it was clear, low 80's, no wind and a blue sky. It was incredible!!
