California (part two)

We went to Disneyland two different days, and could have been there two more days. The kids loved it and so did we!!

Tyson bought Charlie this cute shirt for his very first Disneyland trip.

Small world was Macies favorite! She danced and flapped her arms throughout the whole ride :)

Charlie was super excited to go on the trains, especially the Monorail.

As soon as Macie saw this Minnie she got super excited and wouldn't let go of it.

This is how we kept Charlie quiet while Macie had a nap.

Walking to Disneyland from our hotel, Charlie loved that Monorail!

We were in line to see Minnie and when Macie spotted her she started 

laughing and begging for her. It was adorable!!

Charlie hasn't had a nap in months but we wore him right out and he had a great nap that day.

California (part one)

We took the kids to California last week. It was so much fun!! We played in the hotel's splash pad, went to the beach, and of course went to Disneyland. The kids were ANGELS!! We could not have expected or even hoped that they would be as good as the were. We had such a good time and Tyson even joined us when he could. Caution, lots and lots of pictures!!

These kids loved everything about our trip, even waiting for the plane!

Our hotel had an awesome pirate ship splash pad and both kids loved it.

Playing in the sand is Charlies favorite thing to do, so the beach was a hit!

Poor Macie

Macie loves to do this horsey game on our laps and at the end she goes upside down. She loves, loves, loves it. The other day Andrew was doing it and she came back up and started crying super hard. She got cold sweats, she had a hard time opening her eyes, and she threw up. We were super worried because she was also very lethargic. She would be ok and then she would start crying hard again. We figured out it was her arm that was hurt. We rotated her shoulders and nothing seemed to be dislocated so we thought maybe her muscle was strained. She had her nine month check up the next day (luckily). She didn't move her arm the whole morning before her appointment. I asked the Dr. to look at it and sure enough her elbow was dislocated. He popped it back into place and she was just fine after that. I felt so bad that she was in so much pain for like 18 hours. Poor little Macie. Her check up went well though. She is doing great (now) and is growing up too quickly!!! 

Her nine month stats are:

Weight: 15 lbs. 6 oz. (4%)

Height: 27 in. (32 %)

Head: 44 cm. (52%)

We are so glad she is happy and healthy again!!
