December happenings

We have had a lot of fun these past few weeks. Christmas is such a fun time of year especially when kids are involved.
We have enjoyed our Christmas books:

Connor loves to help me make anything in the kitchen. I think he likes to help so he can have the first taste:

Nothing like being snuggled up in warm jammies with all our friends:

Charlie has been skiing a couple times already:

Connor has been busy working:

Macies cute little preschool class:

Connor found a place to hide from the "bad guys":

We got a "New Kids on the Block" puzzle as a joke, but enjoyed putting it together. Macie even thought one of the guys was cute and Charlie liked one of their hairstyles!!

Poor Connor was sick for a bit:

It was laundry day and Charlie was trying to find some pants. He went to the hamper and put on the first pair he found....which happened to be Connors. He said "I wondered why they were so short." He is a bit on the lean side if he is 7 years old and can fit into size 2T pants!

We went to Logan last weekend and made candy and gingerbread houses:

Such a fun December so far!

Santa Claus

We went and saw Santa and he was a hit!!

Baby Goldie

My sister Chels had her baby In November and my kids think she is pretty neat:

Decorating the Christmas tree

Normally I will let the kids "help" decorate the tree and then I will fix it a little. Not this year. I let them put the ornaments anywhere they wanted and they were so proud that they decorated it all by themselves.

Grandpa Cal

Andrew's sweet Grandpa Cal passed away in November. He was 94 and passed away peacefully. He was such a neat man and I am grateful for all the time we were able to spend with him. We loved him very much and he will be missed.

Connor slept through the entire funeral:
