Macie’s birthday

Macie turned 8!!! I can't believe that she is already so old. She got her ears pierced, she got Scriptures, some games and clothes, but most importantly she got a fish tank! She was beyond excited!! She is such a happy little thing, and has such a fun personality. We love her so much and are so grateful for her fun, creative, sweet spirit in our family.

We spotlighted her in her class and then the class sang Happy Birthday "low to the ground".

We went to Benihana's and the lights a few days before her birthday to celebrate her birthday. So she chose Traeger chicken, rice and asparagus for her dinner at home.

Benihana and temple square lights

We let the kids pick out a place they want to go eat at for their birthday. Macie chose Benihana's and so we walked around Temple Square and also looked at the candy windows.

Macie got her ears pierced:

They brought her ice cream and sang to her:

Gingerbread houses

We went up to Logan to the annual gingerbread house party. It was such a fun day. The kids look forward to this every year.

They put a candle on Macie's gingerbread house and sang to her because her birthday was in a few days.

Junior Achievement field trip

Andrew and I were able to go on Charlie's field trip to Junior Achievement Biztown. It was such a fun day. Charlie was the CEO of the bank and he was made for that job. He was so darling and took it so seriously. It was such fun way to spend the day.

Thanksgiving/Decorating the tree

We were at the Watts for Thanksgiving this year. Only Kim, Anita, Carter, Sadie's family and our family were there this year. It was super low key but it was super fun. We had yummy food, played lots of games and laughed a lot. Such a fun Holiday!!

The kids love to decorate the tree...and I let them do the whole thing:

My Mom did these cute snowman crafts with the kids this year. They were a hit:

Jazz game

We took the kids to the Jazz game and it was such a fun night!

Governor's Gala

We were lucky enough to go the The Governor's Gala with my parents, Chris and Chels, and Matt and Hannah. We had dinner and Nate Bargetzge and his Dad were the entertainment. It was a really fun evening.
