We headed down to California for Spring Break. On Easter we wanted to go to the beach and enjoy nice weather....it was not nice weather!! It was cold and rainy, really rainy! That didn't stop us though. We first went to Balboa Island and ate lunch at Ruby's Diner at the end of the Pier. Then we went to some tide pools in Newport Beach, it was freeing and super wet. We headed North to hopefully get away from the rain and went to Palos Verdes. We got away from the rain and it was beautiful!! We stopped at Trump National golf course and it was the most beautiful setting. The golf course went along the cliffs with the beach below. Then we went to dinner at an amazing hotel called Terranea. It was so fun to walk along the grounds and around the ocean. We had a yummy dinner and then made s'mores around one of the fire pits on the property. It was definitely an Easter we will always remember.
